Lugol’s iodine was first made in 1829 by the French physician J.G.A. Lugol – it was a solution of elemental Iodine and Potassium Iodide in water. Lugol’s iodine solution is often used as an antiseptic and disinfectant, for emergency disinfection of drinking water and to replenish iodine deficiency.

Ingredients: Iodine 5g/100ml, Potassium Iodine 10g/100ml
Storage instructions: Store below 25 degree Celcius out of direct sun light. Keep out of reach of children.
Directions to use: Start slowly with 1 drop in some water or juice per day. Gradually increase to 2-5 drops per day. Of follow your medical practitioner prescription.
Note:Some people may be allergic to Iodine and use of it should proceed carefully, slowly. Do the research and consult with a health care professional, especially if you are pregnant, nursing or under medical care.
